  <abstract>
    <para>Workflows play a pivotal role in the Grid based execution environments. Increasing complexity in the workflow based applications is
leading to complex workflow design, and hence raising the need for a
reliable mechanism of workflow storage, sharing and reuse. This increasing complexity is making the job of workflow designer and domain
experts even harder. It is a really hard job to design an error-free workflow from the scratch, as it demands a lot of time and effort.</para>
    <para>Therefore it is a good idea to reuse the existing workflows to save time
and effort and to minimize the chances of human error. For efficient
re-usability and sharing of the existing Grid workflows there is a need
for a complete workflow management system, which provides not only
efficient storage but also mechanism for automatic version management
and security of the workflows.</para>
    <para>In this paper we extend the idea of our previously published Workflow Hosting Environment to a comprehensive workflow storage,
versioning and management system. Which not only fulfills the above
mentioned requirements but also can be integrated into any workflow
management system because of its service oriented design and implementation.</para>
